Before the conversion was carried out, the main branch was subjected to a precise analysis and a strategy was drawn up as to how the various areas could be optimized and revitalized. The aim was to transform the brand world of the Sparkasse into a three-dimensional experience along with its partners Provinzial and the real estate consultancy S-Immobilien Service, creating a communicative meeting place for the people of Gladbeck by means of a shop-in-shop concept. The design comprises distinct lines and a clear room structure. Cubic elements with gently rounded components house the various functions. Bright ceiling canvases structure the space, marking out areas and providing a sense of orientation in the expansive hall. They show street maps of the Gladbeck with places of interest marked in red. In the consultancy rooms, these places of interest are taken up as thematic focus points and featured in the design. In this way, each individual room has its own specific identity and provides an attractive basis for personal, customer-oriented dialog.
