At the end of 2023, the EU Buildings Directive on the renovation of existing buildings has a specific timeframes received. Because the inventory shows that Germany needs an update. 40% of the urban building stock still comes from the construction boom of the 1960s and 90s. Die Bundesförderung für energieeffiziente Gebäude unterstützt das ambitionierte Ziel, alle Gebäude bis 2050 klimaneutral zu machen. Darin sind zukünftig 13 Mrd. Euro zur Förderung der Gebäudesanierung geplant. Die Bafa Förderung bezieht sich dabei auch auf die Fachplanung und Baubegleitung, um eine professionelle Gebäudesanierung durch Architekten zu gewährleisten.

Was gehört zur Gebäudesanierung?

So unterschiedlich Projekte der Gebäudesanierung in ihrem Ergebnis auch sind, so beinhalten sie dieselben Grundlagen: Einzelmaßnahmen an der Gebäudehülle (z.B. Fenster, Türen, Dächer oder Fassadendämmung), Anlagentechnik zur Erhöhung der Energieeffizienz, Anlagen zur Wärmeerzeugung bzw. Heizungsoptimierung. Zudem legen zeitgemäße Architekten eine nachhaltige Bauweise zugrunde, die mit dem Einsatz umweltverträglicher, ressourcenschonender Materialien einhergeht. Die enge Verknüpfung von Sanierung und Nachhaltigkeit wird auch in dem Wunsch vieler Bauherren nach einer Zertifizierung deutlich. Das Bewertungssystem für nachhaltiges Bauen bietet dabei ein eigenes System für die Bestandszertifizierung an.
